Beanie Feldstein’s opening night as Fanny Brice in “Funny Girl” on Broadway received a glowing review from big brother Jonah Hill.
“I watched my sister @beaniefeldstein absolutely radiate off the stage tonight in @funnygirlbwy,” the actor wrote via Instagram on Sunday, sharing a throwback photo of Beanie dressed in an animal print coat, matching hat and pearls.
“I remember the day she was dressed like this and heard this little miniature human sing these songs her whole life. I’m obviously proud as her older brother, but what I saw her do tonight surpassed siblinghood or pride.”
Hill, 38, continued to gush over Feldstein, 28, writing, “Her talent caused me to cheer from the depths of my heart.”
He added, “I’m floored. I love you @beaniefeldstein and I’m in awe of you and the talent you possess ❤️.”
“Funny Girl” is making its return to Broadway for the first time since 1964, when Barbara Streisand starred in the leading role.
Feldstein recently revealed on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert“ that Streisand, 80, sent her a letter.
“I’ve never met her before, and it was a really beautiful, touching thing that I will keep at my side of my table getting ready forever,” she explained.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Jonah has praised his little sister’s success. He previously shared a selfie of the two in New York, next to one of her Gucci ads.
“Iconic sister alert,” he captioned it.
Last month, Feldstein spoke about her close bond with Hill in an interview with The Cut.
“We are very close,” she said. “We have a very, very deep connection, and he’s like one of the most important people in my whole life, and being his sister is, like, my greatest joy.”
