Prince Harry’s 30 hour trip to the UK as he jets back to California immediately after Coronation

Prince Harry's latest trip to the UK was short and sweet.

This wasn't entirely unexpected, with the Coronation falling on the same day as Archie's fourth birthday, and as the relationship between the Sussexes and other royals grows frostier following the publication of Harry's controversial memoir, Spare.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, might have only been on British soil for 30 hours, but he packed a lot in during that time.

Harry jetted into the UK on a commercial American Airlines flight from Los Angeles and landed at Heathrow Airport on Friday morning at 11.23am, according to MailOnline.

Despite the tumultuous relationship with some of his immediate family members, the prince seemed unbothered as he arrived smiling at Westminster Abbey at around 10.30am on Saturday morning.

He walked into the church between his cousins Princess Beatrice and Eugenie and their respective husbands, ahead of the two-hour ceremony which would see father and step-mother Camilla be crowned.

However, he snubbed an invitation to lunch at Buckingham Palace, which was held following the coronation ceremony, instead opting to fly back to his home in California.

His trip to the UK is without his wife Meghan Markle, 41, who has remained at their home in the US, where she will be celebrating their son Prince Archie's fourth birthday, which is the same day as his grandfather's coronation.

Just before 3pm, Prince Harry's car was seen leaving London.

Harry was seen smiling again as he departed Westminster Abbey in a black car, with the same car later spotted being escorted out of the capital by a police motorcade which headed west through the city.

He was then spotted at Heathrow Airport at around 4.15pm on Saturday.

It's thought he's rushing to get home in time to attend at least part of his son Prince Archie's fourth birthday party.

With the eight hour time difference between Los Angeles and London, Harry might just make it home on time to catch tail-end of the party and put his two children to bed. It's thought he might even be using a private jet to help him get back home quickly.

With Harry already en route back to Montecito, he'll miss the rest of ahead of the weekend's celebrations, including Sunday night's Coronation Concert.
