We’re now so used to watching football ace Phil Foden with his signature bleach blond crop that we barely remember him with any other look – but just a few months ago he was sporting a very different style.
With dark hair and a trendy fade cut, the Manchester City star looked like a different person. Now, he seems to have found a signature look in his blond colour – a look that’s being compared to legend Paul Gascoigne.
Blond also seems to be a hot topic amongst the England squad, as Phil has apparently reminded his teammates of a hilarious promise they made to all dye their hair blond if they win the Euro 2020 Championships.
Fans have been expressing their excitement at potentially seeing the team with matching blond hair, with one Instagram follower saying, “One game away till half the UK has your trim”, and another joking, “Are they ready for that haircut?”
Phil bleached his own hair before the start of the tournament, and seems set on convincing his teammates to do the same if they take home the trophy this weekend – which would mark England’s first win in 55 years.
21 year old Phil has become something of a heartthrob in the past few weeks, with Twitter users appreciating his on-pitch looks as well as his performance. Sadly for all his love-struck fans, the star has a long-term girlfriend.
Rebecca Cooke is his childhood sweetheart, and the pair share a one year old son, Ronnie.
Rebecca appears to be every inch the doting mum as she was recently seen with Ronnie at London’s Wembley Stadium to support her other half in England’s win against the Czech Republic.
We’re sure Rebecca would love to see England win, especially if it means the team is bringing home the blond. Personally we’d love to see Jack Grealish with sunkissed strands!
