Nick Viall is back on The Bachelorette tonight, which is basically like a huge homecoming for him. In case you forgot, Nick starred on both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s seasons—along with being The Bachelor for Season 21 and appearing on a slew of other Bachelor Nation shows.
From Bachelor shows alone, Nick has dated Andi, Kaitlyn, and Jennifer Saviano. He also got engaged to special education teacher Vanessa Grimaldi during his season of The Bachelor.
Unfortunately for Nick, none of the relationships he formed on those shows lasted. Now, though, he’s in a relationship and he seems really, really happy. Who is Nick’s new love, Natalie Joy? Here’s what you need to know about her.
They met on Instagram.
Nick told Insider earlier this year that Natalie DMed him first. “It was playful enough, and I guess it didn’t come across as weird?” he joked. They started dating not long after.

They’ve been together for a while, actually.
Nick publicly shared the news of his relationship in February 2021 on his podcast “The Viall Files,” although he didn’t name Natalie at the time. “It sounds so cheesy, but she does make me want to be better,” he sweetly said. “Everyone loves her. Without question, everyone likes her more than me. All of my friends.” Worth noting: The two were first linked in 2019.

She’s a surgical technologist.
In case you’re not familiar, it means that Natalie helps out in the operating room. Surgical technologists usually do things like prepping the O.R. for surgery, sterilizing and supplying equipment, prepping patients for surgery, washing incision sites, and passing surgeons and nurses instruments and other supplies during surgery, per All Allied Health Schools.

At 22, Natalie is 18 years younger than Nick, 40.

Natalie shared a photo on Instagram in January of herself posing next to Modern Family star Sarah Hyland. Sarah is engaged to Bachelor Nation star Wells Adams, and it’s unclear if the two met through their S.O.s.
