STOKE flop Jese Rodriguez’s stunning on-off girlfriend has spoken out publicly over online speculation that she ran him over.
Sultry brunette Aurah Ruiz spoke out to defend herself after video footage went viral showing a man identified locally as the striker limping away from the scene of the supposed traffic incident.
The former Spanish Big Brother housemate is now back with the father of her two-year-old son after an ugly split that led to the footballer taking his then-ex to court.
She admitted she had rowed with her partner.
But she raged: “I’ve not run anyone over. It’s a lie and very serious.
“I’m not going to allow people to say I’ve run my partner over.
“I know a lot of things have happened between us that we’re not proud of but we love each other and I never wanted to run him over.
“I know I lose my head sometimes but this!!! How am I going to do something to the father of my child!! Are we all mad!!"
The shocking speculation being refuted by Aurah emerged after footage went viral of a man limping heavily at the side of the road last Sunday as he walked with support from several other people around him.
A local paper on the holiday island of Gran Canaria, where Jese is currently playing for Spanish second division side Las Palmas, identified the street as being near a stadium where the footballer and his girlfriend had just attended a concert.
An unidentified person can be overheard saying: “That's Jese. He won't be playing. He’s going to be out injured now”
One social media user, referring to the soap opera ups-and-downs of the turbulent relationship between Aurah and Jese, titled the video: “These two could give you enough material to make a successful Netflix series.”
The striker, who spent the 2017-18 Premier League season on loan to the Potters from Paris Saint-Germain, also hit out at claims he had been hurt by his girlfriend.
He said on social media after training normally on Wednesday following a knock last weekend which forced him to rest briefly: “Good training session today. Respect me and stop publishing fake news.”
Influencer and model Aurah, 31, revealed earlier this year she is a fan of sex toys, claiming: “Jese loves them. I have loads and I play with my partner with all the toys I can collect together.”
The brunette also hinted a sex tape she had made with the footballer would come out soon.
Jese, 28, is wowing the crowds again with his new club after his career took a nosedive following his glory days at Real Madrid.
He began to lose his way following a serious injury while he was at the Spanish club.
He is due to star this weekend in a regional derby game against Tenerife.
In the 617 minutes he has played so far for Las Palmas over nine games, he has scored three goals and registered four assists and given hope to local fans who thought his best days were behind him.
The footballer has fathered five children with three different partners.
At the height of their troubles, Jese took Aurah to court for harassment.
His shock legal action ended with the headline-loving brunette being convicted in December 2020 despite the pair reuniting.
Aurah was told at the time of her conviction she would have to do nine days community service after reaching a settlement with Jese.
The pair left court holding hands before saying goodbye with a kiss and a hug.
