"The police attended the scene and we are fully assisting them with their ongoing enquiries."

Greater Manchester Police was aware of the incident as a spokesperson confirmed the force is investigating.

In March, police released CCTV images of four teenage girls who beat up a man and a woman on a London bus.

The four girls, described as aged in their mid to late teens, were allegedly seen harassing a man and a woman on the bus.

The attack took place on the 250 bus, which operates from Streatham to Croydon, on August 28, 2022.

A woman was hit in the head with a bottle and the man sitting next to her was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.

The Metropolitan Police are now encouraging people who can identify the teens to give information.
