Royal fans were left on the edge of their seats for hours and then disappointed after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn't show up to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee as expected.

It has been reported that rather than watch the Trooping the Colour parade from a balcony at Horse Guards Parade, the couple instead had to watch the ceremony from a window inside.

It was thought the Sussexes would watch the salute from the location after being excluded from the main balcony wave at Buckingham Palace.

Hower social media users were confused to see the salute come and go with not a single member of the firm being glimpsed.

The Telegraph reports that the couple were offered VIP seats to the parade and were allowed to watch it through a window in Horse Guards.

Taking to social media, many could not understand what had happened.

One raged that it was like it was a conscious plan to exclude them.

They said: "Watching the trooping of the colour and all I can think of is how ridiculous it is that Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex are banned from everything.

"It’s ridiculous. Could easily have had them in Horseguards and then in the carriage procession to Buckingham Palace."

Another screamed: "Where are Harry and Meghan?"

Another rationalised: "They’re hiding them. They’ll crash the internet if they release them now."

One raged: "All over the Net ppl are saying they are waiting to see Harry and Meghan. Facts."

The Daily Star has reached out to Buckingham Palace for clarification on where the couple will appear.
