Shocking doorbell footage reveals the moment a brazen thief steals an Amazon parcel from a front door in broad daylight.
Amazon customer Ben Palmer, 45, was left shocked when he watched the footage from his doorbell and discovered a thief had stolen his £50 package.
The video shows the Amazon delivery driver leaving the parcel at the front door then around 30 minutes later a thief in shorts and a t-shirt runs up and pinches it before running away.
Inside the package were hot tub filters, hot tub anti-foam liquid, and shaver heads.
Mr Palmer, a married father of one, was not home at the time of the delivery but received a notification that it had been dropped off.

However, when he returned to his £550,000 four-bedroom semi-detached home in Southampton, Hampshire, he couldn’t find it so checked his CCTV.
Mr Palmer, who works as a head of operations at Octopus Energy, said ‘some people’s moral compass is off’.
‘I thought it was brave that someone in broad daylight would do that. That they would jump out of a van and steal a parcel like that,’ he stated.
‘I reported to the police online and I got a letter through saying they won’t be investigating, which to these people just encourages them to carry on.
‘I just don’t know why the driver didn’t knock on the door or leave the parcel in a safe place.
‘There are people in the world whose moral compass is off and who have not thought on whether people can afford to lose this. It’s quite frustrating.’
He added: ‘It seems like there is someone checking what is being ordered and delivered and checks in the boxes to see if there is anything valuable.
Hampshire Constabulary have filed the case pending further information
‘It seems of concern and someone at Amazon should be made aware of this.’
In the video, the thief appears to run towards a white van after grabbing the parcels. Mr Palmer said he is ‘almost certain’ the thief got out of the van.
Hampshire Constabulary have filed the case pending further information.
A spokesperson for Amazon said: ‘We have very high standards for the delivery service providers we work with and how they serve customers. We’re looking into this matter.’
