It’s just like “The Price Is Right” — but you won’t be on TV.
That hasn’t stopped thousands from attending “The Price Is Right Live” over the last decade. The interactive stage show, which has boasted of $12 million in giveaways, will return to Loveland’s Budweiser Event Center for a show at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Tickets, $39-$75, are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 30, at treventscomplex.com. Tickets also can be purchased in person inside the Budweiser Events Center. Group discounts are available for parties of 10 or more by calling 970-619-4112.
The touring show, which was previously in Loveland in 2015 and 2017, invites a handful of pre-registered contestants on stage to play classic games from the 65-year-old daytime TV icon, organizers said in a press release.
Cash, appliances, vacations and, naturally, a new car are among the things you can win by playing “Price Is Right” games such as Plinko, Cliffhangers, The Big Wheel and the Showcase Showdown.
So who’s eligible? If you’re 18 years and older and live in the U.S. or Canada, it’s you. However, producers cautioned, buying a ticket does not increase your chances of being chosen for the stage.
Registering to be a potential contestant involves showing up three hours early (and there’s no ticket purchase required).
