CRYSTAL Smith and Jason Fucci are the parents of Aiden Fucci, a 14 year old boy accused of murder.
The teen is being tried as an adult, in connection with the 2021 murder of classmate Tristyn Bailey, 13, who was stabbed over 100 times.

Aiden Fucci, will be charged as an adult in the murder of Tristyn Bailey, is in the St. Johns County Courthouse for his pretrial hearing.
His mother Crystal Smith is also expected in court. A pretrial date is set for February 2nd at 9 a.m.
On Saturday, June 5, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office announced Crystal, 35, Fucci's mother, was arrested for allegedly "tampering with evidence."
Police said Crystal surrendered herself to the custody of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
His mother, Crystal, is charged with tampering with evidence. Her second pretrial date is the same date on February 2, 2022.
After the 14-year-old Fucci was questioned by investigators, Crystal was reportedly spotted on surveillance video in her home washing her son's jeans, the arrest warrant stated, according to WJXT.
Officers confiscated the jeans which later tested positive for blood.
On August 24, 2021 the Florida State Attorney’s Office released the surveillance video along with Snapchat videos of Fucci in the back of a patrol car.
“Guess who’s in a f***ing cop car, guys? Trippin’ dude," Fucci said.
Crystal previously entered a written plea of not guilty back in July for the evidence tampering charge in connection to Bailey's killing.
Her next court date is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1, the same day Fucci is set to appear in court.
Fucci's father Jason has also been in trouble with the law before.
It was reported that back in January 2003, he was accused of child abuse, injury and neglect, that same year, in October, he was also arrested for engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl at his home.
In 2004, he was found guilty on the child abuse charges and was sentenced to one year and two months in prison, Jason was also found guilty of engaging in sexual activity but only sentenced to two years of probation.
In 2016, Jason was then arrested again for battery following a fight at a gas station with a couple while his son was present.
It is unknown at this time if the defense will use Fucci's childhood in their case.
What happened to Tristyn Bailey?
Bailey was found dead after being reported missing by her family.
Fucci was a student at Bailey's school, but few details have yet been released about whether they knew each other.
Fucci appeared in court before Judge Richard Orfinger, wearing a dark-colored sweater, at a detention center in Volusia county.
"I do find that there is probable cause to believe the offense occurred and at this time I am going to order that Mr. Fucci be detained by the department of juvenile justice in secure detention for 21 days or until further order of the court," the judge determined.
The teenager appeared to hold back tears as his detention terms were read out, before rolling his eyes when his parents were told they will have to pay $5 per day while he remains in the center.
Bailey's cousin, Connie Stull, exclusively told The Sun that she hopes Fucci confesses.
Asked if she hopes he comes clean, she replied: "Yes I do. I have cried my eyes out.
"Tristyn was a sweetheart, she loved cheerleading, I'm an emotional wreck, my husband and I didn't sleep well last night."
Tanya White, who taught Bailey cheerleading, described the tragedy as "completely horrendous" and "mind-blowing."
Speaking on Fucci, she said: "I'm glad he has been arrested and it's moving quickly and not dragged out for the parents' sake."
How much prison time is Aiden Fucci facing?
Fucci will be charged as an adult in the death of Bailey.
The decision to charge Fucci with first-degree murder came from a grand jury, which met in secret on Thursday, May 27.
The state attorney shared that if Fucci receives life in prison, he will be eligible for a review at age 25 because he is a minor.
He will also receive certain benefits or accommodations because of his age at the time of the crime and sentencing.
In a press conference on May 27, the State Attorney called the choice to charge Fucci as an adult a "sad, but not difficult" decision.
This decision means that Fucci could face life in prison.
