X Factor Australia star arrested for murdering nine-month-old baby girl five years after tot found unconscious at home | The Sun

X FACTOR Australia star Mitchell Callaway has been arrested for the alleged murder of a nine-month-old baby girl.

The 37-year-old was handcuffed at his home in New South Wales, Australia, following a lengthy police probe into the death of the baby in 2018.

Inked-up Callaway was pictured being perp walked by cops after he was charged with the alleged murder of the youngster on Thursday.

At the time of the tragedy in 2018, emergency services were called to a Binnaway home following reports the baby girl was unresponsive.

The tot was rushed to Coonabarabran Hospital, about 300 miles northwest of Sydney, but died a short time later.

Detectives from Orana Mid-Western Police District subsequently launched an investigation surrounding the death – spanning almost five years.

"But today we have witnessed the beginning of justice.

"She has been the reason I have continued to fight, live and have made it this far.
