This year is one former TOWIE star Amy Childs won't forget any time soon – not only did she welcome twins Amelia and Billy in April, she also got engaged to their dad Billy Delbosq just weeks later.
But if fans were hoping to hear wedding bells in the new year, the 33 year old admitted exclusively that she has no plans for a wedding just yet.
"That’s the question everyone keeps asking me, but there’s been no talk of a wedding yet," Amy laughed when we asked about her upcoming nuptials.
"There’s no rush and I just want to cherish time with the kids while they’re growing up and not be spending that time planning a wedding."
Billy got down on one knee in April and popped the question during a photoshoot with his and Amy's newborn twins.
Billy, who once appeared on First Dates, even enlisted the help of Amelia and Billy and dressed them in matching sleepsuits with the words, ‘Mummy will you marry my Daddy?’.
And the reality TV star – who is also mum to Polly, six, and five-year-old Ritchie from previous relationships – welcomed babies Amelia revealed at the time was a 'shock'.
"At the minute, we are just happy being engaged," Amy told us on the lead up to Christmas as she's partnered up with Elf on the Shelf. "We’ll do it when we’ve got more time, but I don’t have that at the minute because things are very full-on.
"It can be tough at times, but I wouldn’t change anything for the world. I’m incredibly lucky."
But it appears that their wedding – when they eventually book it – could be filmed to allow viewers to join in. Speaking to OK! earlier this year, she explained: "I said [to Billy], 'Are you sure you want to marry me?' Jokes aside, we’re thinking maybe next year. I want my body back to looking good because we’ll hopefully film it."
"I’d love to do a wedding TV show. Harry [Amy’s cousin] and I met up straight away for a wedding dress try-on! But right now, we want to enjoy being engaged."
Amy Childs has partnered with the one and only Elf on the Shelf to show parents how easy it can be to take part in this beloved tradition.
