Lopez and her husband initially met during the early 2000s, and they were briefly engaged before they ended their relationship in 2004.
The singer moved with Marc Anthony, whom she married in 2004, and they welcomed twins Emme and Maximilian, 15, in 2008.
Meanwhile Affleck married Garner in 2005.
Lopez divorced Anthony in 2014, and the actor formally dissolved his marriage in 2018.
The hitmaker and the director eventually reconnected, and they resumed their relationship in April of 2021.
The happy couple remained together for over a year before they tied the knot during a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in July of last year.
Earlier this month Lopez said she has learned to ‘love herself unapologetically’ since marrying Affleck.
She told Vogue: ‘I’m finally at the point in my life where I love every part of myself unapologetically. Every part of me, my body, my voice, my choices, even like my mistakes.
‘All of it made me who I am and got me to where I am today. Ben wants me to understand my worth and know my value.’ JLo added that Ben makes her feel more ‘beautiful’ than anyone else ever has done.

Lopez previously spoke about her blended family during an interview with Vogue, where she stated that, although she was happy to be able to start a new life with Affleck, her priority was the well-being of their children.
‘The transition is a process that needs to be handled with so much care. They have so many feelings. They’re teens. But it’s going really well so far,’ she stated.
The performer also spoke about how she wanted her children to connect with their stepfather and vice versa.
‘What I hope to cultivate with our family is that his kids have a new ally in me and my kids have a new ally in him, someone who really loves and cares about them but can have a different perspective,’ she said.
