Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she was ‘miserable’ before Tommy Fury proposed because she had a gut feeling that ‘something wasn’t right’ with her boyfriend.
The Love Island star, 24, was left ‘completely fooled’ after Tommy, 23, claimed they were going to Ibiza for an event, only to surprise her by popping the question.
Addressing her fans on Sunday in her first vlog since getting engaged, Molly-Mae revealed she had filmed the content in advance and it was interesting to watch it back knowing now why she felt so unsettled.
She explained: ‘This vlog was recorded before everything went down but I couldn’t not come on and say hi, say I’m a fiancée!
‘It was recorded a couple days before we left for Ibiza, an extremely real day in my life, it’s comedy gold some of the comments, [me asking] why are we going to Ibiza? Stressing about packing because it was so last minute.’

Molly-Mae continued: ‘I was completely fooled. I thought we were going for something completely different.
‘Watching back I was like this isn’t my finest side, I spoke about why I was bit down in the dumps in this vlog.
‘As a woman, when you have a gut feeling that something is not right and I couldn’t put my finger on what was going on but Tommy was not acting himself and I think it was contributing to how I felt, something felt off.’
She concluded the vlog by explaining: ‘You’ve seen the not so fine side of me, I’ve been real, I’ve been miserable not bringing energy.
‘I’ve been a little bit sad today and I think it’s my hormones so please do bear with me.’
Elsewhere in the vlog, Molly-Mae revealed her six-month old daughter Bambi is turning into quite the jetsetter, having already visited five countries.
Speaking about her ‘last minute’ trip to Ibiza, which followed on from holidays in Dubai, Barbados, Greece and Paris, Molly Mae mused: ‘This is Bambi’s fifth country and she’s only six months, she’s basically doing a country a month!’
Molly-Mae also admitted she was conscious about talking about Bambi in her vlogs after fans criticised her new content.
She explained: ‘I’ve been getting a lot of comments recently saying I used to way prefer your content before it was a lot of baby stuff and that makes me feel quite sad.
‘I don’t think I talk about Bambi a lot, well maybe I do, I don’t know.
‘I just never wanted my channel to become all about being a mum or my baby, as easily as it could be because I could talk about her all day.
‘But I’m consciously remember to keep it the way it was before because that’s why you were here in the first place. I try to keep a healthy balance.’
Tommy popped the question earlier this month in a romantic cliffside proposal in Ibiza, decorating the scene with hundreds of roses and flying in her favourite singer to serenade them.
It has been estimated by jewellers that the boxer spent a whopping £600,000 on the stunning oval-cut diamond band, while Molly-Mae had no idea the proposal was coming.

Molly-Mae previously revealed how Tommy pulled off the elaborate rouse, revealing he set up a fake event so that she wouldn’t be suspicious about where they were going.
In an Instagram Story, the mother-of-one shared a picture taken before the proposal, captioned: ‘Just before we were leaving for a ‘brand event’ we’d both been invited to…
‘Fake invites, fake emails, notes in the hotel room from the brand, everyone playing along so unbelievably well… I’ve never known a surprise to be pulled off like this.’
She continued: ‘I was COMPLETELY and utterly fooled.

‘It was only when we pulled up to the ‘event and Tommy jumped out of the car and ran off and I was handed a letter that I realised all was not what it seemed.’
Molly also revealed that she wasn’t expecting to see their daughter Bambi, seven months, sharing a picture with her baby.
She captioned the snap: ‘Getting ready with my perfect girl who we said goodbye to for the evening… little did I know she was on her way to meet us there.’
Molly-Mae was then left alone wondering what was happening as Tommy ran away to pick up Bambi and wait at the proposal spot.
She explained: ‘I walked down a very steep hill to find these two waiting for me… AND @thisisruthanne singing my favourite song.
‘He couldn’t have made the moment any more perfect. Flying my glam team over, my videographers, my favourite singer… I just can’t get over it.’
For her final post, Molly-Mae shared an adorable snap of Tommy and their daughter, writing: ‘In our little engagement bubble with our girl. I can’t wait for forever with you.’
Tommy and Molly announced their engagement with a black and white video of the romantic moment that took place on a picturesque cliffside in Ibiza.
The pair later posted a further image, in which Molly-Mae’s diamond encrusted ring – believed to be worth as much as £1million – is clearly visible as she shares a kiss with her fiancé while cradling their baby daughter Bambi.
Captioning the shot, Tommy wrote: ‘To my perfect fiancé… forever wouldn’t be long enough to call you mine.’
In her engagement video, Molly-Mae looked gorgeous in an ivory jumpsuit as she tearfully made her way towards Tommy who stood cradling their six-month-old daughter Bambi.
The area had been decorated with lavish roses and petals covering the ground where Tommy knelt down on one knee as he popped the question with a diamond ring.
She captioned the post: ‘Forever. 23/07/23’.
The couple beamed as Molly-Mae said yes and they embraced before taking in the spectacular views.
