Montana Brown joined by baby son Jude in hospital as she prepares for surgery

Love Island star Montana Brown has revealed she is undergoing surgery after sharing a clip from her hospital bed on social media.

The 28 year old, who appeared on the third season of the hit ITV2 dating show, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to share an update with fans, revealing she was currently in hospital preparing to have surgery.

Montana shared an adorable clip of her lying down her with baby son Jude, who was born in June, lying on her chest, along with the caption: "What a lovely massage ahead of surgery. Thank you Jude".

The new mum didn't reveal what the surgery she is having is for.

Montana welcomed her first child, Jude Isaiah O'Connor, on 23 June with her fiancé Mark O'Connor, and has been documenting her journey as a new mum on social media.

Having shared candid photos of her postpartum body and updates about her breastfeeding journey, Montana recently opened up about Jude's birth in a revealing Youtube video.

"I know you guys had so many questions, especially because I was planning on having a home-birth and things didn't go to plan…" she told her fans, before then suggesting she felt "so weird" over being "really excited" to deliver her son, as the general consensus for giving birth seems to be torturous pain.

She revealed she'd gotten advice from ex-TOWIE favourite and mum-of-three Sam Faiers before giving birth, which helped massively when delivering Jude.

Discussing the start of contractions, Montana said: "When I say my body just took over, I was like mooing, like a cow. I was like [does impression]. I was not on this planet, but I think it was Sam Faiers who told me she was mooing and at the time I was like, that didn't really make sense, but as soon as I went into labour it completely made sense.

"The low vibration of the moo was helping me get through the contractions because in my head I was like, right if I do two long moos – like really exhale through the nose and then exhaling through my mouth like mooing, like a low sound; two long ones of those and then that was the contraction over."

There's no doubt she had plenty of useful tips as Sam, 32, who is mum to Paul, Rosie and Edward, previously told how she dramatically welcomed her youngest son in 2022 in the kitchen at her family home while standing up.
