Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Erika Jayne BREAKS DOWN after revealing Tom Girardi calls her every day… but she doesn’t answer
Erika Jayne, 49, broke down crying after she revealed to the other housewives that her estranged husband Tom Girardi, 82, still calls her every day, but that she doesn’t take his calls on Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Erika had told Garcelle Beauvais, 54, about Tom’s calls earlier in the day, but she hadn’t been planning on sharing this news with everyone until Garcelle blurted it out.
She told Garcelle and Crystal Kung Minkoff, 35, about Tom’s calls during a hike in the desert, adding that she never talks to him but he calls every day with messages that he loves and misses her, but she instructed her lawyer to say she can’t talk to him.

‘He needs help and I can’t give it,’ Erika told them.
Erika told them that Tom was never the same after his car accident where he had suffered a head injury, adding he would tell the same story 10 times a day and would lash out in anger often, adding she believed he showed signs of Alzheimers.
‘Part of true brain trauma is making decisions that you wouldn’t normally make,’ Erika said. ‘It’s hard to watch someone go through this and there is nothing I can do to help.’
No help: ‘He needs help and I can’t give it,’ Erika told them
Accident: Erika told them that Tom was never the same after his car accident where he had suffered a head injury, adding he would tell the same story 10 times a day and would lash out in anger often, adding she believed he showed signs of Alzheimers
But later that day when Garcelle decided to share Erika’s revelation with the other housewives, Erika was pissed.
All the housewives had regrouped back at the Kyle Richards, 52, La Quinta house for lunch. Erika told them that she was waiting for some news and told them that she might need to go back early. Garcelle then blurted out to everyone that Tom still calls Erika.
‘You don’t mind me saying that,’ Garcelle asked Erika.
Garcelle shares: But later that day when Garcelle decided to share Erika’s revelation with the other housewives, Erika was pissed
Kyle’s house: All the housewives had regrouped back at the Kyle Richards, 52, La Quinta house for lunch. Erika told them that she was waiting for some news and told them that she might need to go back early. Garcelle then blurted out to everyone that Tom still calls Erika
Don’t mind: ‘You don’t mind me saying that,’ Garcelle asked Erika
Erika was pissed. Erika said in a confessional that Tom ‘is in legal jeopardy and I cannot talk to him.’ She said if she was ever asked when was the last time she spoke to him that she had to be able to say the day she left.
‘Well, I do mind you saying that because I feel you are betraying my friendship, but please have your moment. Go ahead,’ Erika said.
Let me tell the story. Tom calls me all the time. I won’t take his call.’ She told Garcelle not to ‘sugarcoat’ the fact that she got her to reveal her personal info. Erika then glared enraged at Garcelle and then broke out crying.
‘I was sharing a private moment,’ Erika said while sobbing. ‘Not everything is up for discussion.’
Legal jeopardy: Erika was pissed. Erika said in a confessional that Tom ‘is in legal jeopardy and I cannot talk to him.’ She said if she was ever asked when was the last time she spoke to him that she had to be able to say the day she left
Betrayed: ‘Well, I do mind you saying that because I feel you are betraying my friendship, but please have your moment. Go ahead,’ Erika said
She told Garcelle she didn’t think it was right what she did. ‘You didn’t have to do it twice,’ Erika said. ‘You didn’t have to do it in front of them. Once was enough.’
‘There is only so much that I can take right now,’ Erika said as she got up sobbing and walked to the bathroom.
Garcelle then started crying and said she would have never shared with the women if Erika had told her not to. Crystal said it was a misunderstanding. Erika could be heard sobbing from behind the closed bathroom door.
Once was enough: She told Garcelle she didn’t think it was right what she did. ‘You didn’t have to do it twice,’ Erika said. ‘You didn’t have to do it in front of them. Once was enough’
Only so much: ‘There is only so much that I can take right now,’ Erika said as she got up sobbing and walked to the bathroom
The episode titled ‘The Ice Queen of the Desert’ began with Kyle shocked to be reading a headline in Page Six that Tom had been secretly hospitalized for ‘serious illness.
She shared the news with Lisa who read the news on her phone out loud to Kyle and Dorit Kemsley, 44. Lisa said the article said that Tom ‘ suffered serious illness in recent months that he needed to be hospitalized’ which she said meant that he had been hospitalized in the past.
‘This is never ending,’ said Kyle.
Kyle: The episode titled ‘The Ice Queen of the Desert’ began with Kyle shocked to be reading a headline in Page Six that Tom had been secretly hospitalized for ‘serious illness
Illness: Lisa said the article said that Tom ‘ suffered serious illness in recent months that he needed to be hospitalized’ which she said meant that he had been hospitalized in the past
In a confessional, Kyle said that every day there are new stories about Tom and new allegations. ‘Everyday she is dealing with this,’ said Kyle.
Erika showed up at Kyle’s house after sleeping the night at the hotel. She told the women that she couldn’t sleep at the hotel even though the hotel bed was soft.
Kyle, Lisa, Dorit, and Crystal went out on a bike ride through La Quinta on electric bikes. After riding to town and picking up coffee and crepes, the women sat down and discussed Erika’s situation. Kyle couldn’t believe that Tom, who was in his eighties, was cheating on Erika.
Every day: In a confessional, Kyle said that every day there are new stories about Tom and new allegations. ‘Everyday she is dealing with this,’ said Kyle
Hotel: Erika showed up at Kyle’s house after sleeping the night at the hotel. She told the women that she couldn’t sleep at the hotel even though the hotel bed was soft
Bikes: Kyle, Lisa, Dorit, and Crystal went out on a bike ride through La Quinta on electric bikes
‘The fact that he would do it and then be so mean to her,’ Dorit said, was terrible. ‘And yet, she still thinks about protecting him. I hope someone is advising her, someone is telling her that ‘Erika, he’s not going to protect you.’
‘You guys she is not getting a penny,’ said Kyle.
‘I don’t think there is a penny to get,’ replied Lisa.
Penny: ‘You guys she is not getting a penny,’ said Kyle.
No Penny: ‘I don’t think there is a penny to get,’ replied Lisa
Erika stayed behind with Sutton Stracke, 49, and Kathy Hilton, 62. When the bike ride was over, Kyle wanted everyone at her house to help her decorate her Christmas tree.
Kyle reminded Erika that her estranged husband owns a house in her same La Quinta community. Erika said she had never been to it. Kyle went and fished out the homeowners directory to try and locate the address for the house.
Sutton said in a confessional that she could relate to Erika not knowing anything about this house. She said she didn’t know she was a part owner in two minor league baseball teams until she got divorced.
Tree: Erika stayed behind with Sutton Stracke, 49, and Kathy Hilton, 62. When the bike ride was over, Kyle wanted everyone at her house to help her decorate her Christmas tree

Kathy told her to call security and tell them that she travels a lot and forgot her house address. Kyle contacted a manager of her association to ask for the address. The women then left the house to go and play croquet. Kyle thought the game would be a good distraction for Erika. After the half hazard game, the women sat down in a circle to talk.
Kyle told them that she was expecting Garcelle to arrive at the house soon, but that she was going to be staying in the hotel. Lisa told the ladies that things with her and Garcelle were fine now. She said they are moving on and taking things one day at a time. Kyle asked Lisa if Garcelle started following her again on Instagram, but Lisa said she didn’t know because she didn’t check. Kyle said in a confessional that she did know that Garcelle still wasn’t following her or Lisa.
Garcelle arrived at the house wearing a PPE suit and a visor. She started jokingly using a handheld laser germ killer on Kyle’s house. She said in a confessional that ‘these b****es had covid I’m not walking in there without being prepared.’
Not empty: Erika said that she didn’t think the house was empty. She said she had already considered whether there was a whole other family living there or another woman. ‘I’ve thought of all of it,’ she said

Kyle told Erika that she found the address of her home in La Quinta but that it had been sold in 2018. Erika said she didn’t even know. Sutton told her that it was important for her to get a forensic accountant to figure out all her assets.
No help: Later that night, the women changed and went to Erika’s hotel room to have a dinner party. Crystal started making drinks for the women. Erika told the woman that she didn’t have anyone to help her
Didn’t know: She said she didn’t go to a bank until March and up until then didn’t have a debit card. Katy told her that she didn’t know how to use a debit card
‘Big money, you want to find out where it is,’ said Lisa.
Kathy started a game at the table asking the women to each describe themselves in one word.
When it came to Erika she said she was ‘tough.’ She said ‘mentally I am really tough.’ Garcelle told her they were both very similar and that they both had a ‘hard shell, but there is a very fragile person inside.’
‘We will always end up on top,’ Garcelle told her.
The episode ended with Erika crying in the bathroom and saying that she tried to be open and honest.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will return next Wednesday on Bravo.
