Shania Twain, 57, FALLS onstage during Illinois concert… but makes a quick recovery and keeps singing
Five-time Grammy winner Shania Twain slipped and fell during her sold-out concert at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park, IL on Saturday.
The 57-year-old Canadian crooner – who relies on stylist Chris Horan – was rocking a sparkly silver pair of thigh-high boots while performing her 1997 song Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You) when it happened.
Shania (born Eilleen Edwards) was strutting across the stage during her third song in the setlist when her right foot skid and she wound up on her rear end.
But Twain didn’t miss a lyric and kept singing the song as she got back up and gingerly tested the friction of the slippery spot where she fell.
Eyewitnesses told TMZ on Sunday that ‘the packed crowd did not react when Shania took her spill’ because she continued on with the show without issue.

The ‘Queen of Country Pop’ has never met a thigh-high boot she didn’t love, and even purchased a 7.5 size pair of boots just because she ‘loves them so much.’
‘I saw the boot, and I’m like “Oh, these are going to be, like, over-the-top expensive.” But they were on sale. So I say to the clerk, “Do you have a 6.5?” She goes, “No, this is the last pair,”‘ Shania confessed in a June 17 TikTok.
‘I said, “Well, I’ll try them on anyway.” You know that kind of thing where you love something so much so you want them to fit even if you know they don’t? They are a size too big for me, but I just wear socks in them and it works!
‘So I don’t know if squeezing your foot into a smaller boot is a great idea, but anyway I wear them too big just because I love them so much!’
Twain is next scheduled to bring her 76-date Queen Of Me Tour to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY this Monday.
The Starstruck judge’s tour is in support of her sixth studio album, which she wrote and recorded during the pandemic and released on February 3.
Shania will also appear alongside six other music superstars in Jack Martin’s musical spectacle disguised as a game show Superfan, which premieres August 9 on CBS, but her episode doesn’t air until August 16.
