A mum has shared the simple one-product cleaning method for transforming her shower screen from dirty to sparkling without tireless scrubbing.
Toni, from Queensland, had enough of seeing soap scum and limescale build up on her shower walls and decided to remedy the situation.
After successfully cleaning her oven door with The Pink Stuff and a Scrub Daddy, she tried the winning combination on her shower with spotless results.
‘I previously tried everything suggested on my shower screen with zero success,’ she shared in a post alongside before and after photos of the screen.
‘Today, I tried the Pink Stuff with a Scrub Daddy. Wow! I’m in complete shock. I thought it must have been glass cancer but apparently not. I can’t stop looking at it. It’s a miracle paste.’

The Pink Stuff is mildly abrasive and typically used to clean saucepans, barbecues, ceramic tiles, glass, rust, sinks, and similar objects.
It’s recommended to first test the product on delicate surfaces like glass – and many offered Toni the same advice.
‘One warned: Just be careful. We owned a glass company and abrasive products will put fine scratches in the glass, and the cream cleanser will sit in those scratches and won’t be able to be removed.
‘You should be able to maintain this by a non scratch scourer and dishwashing liquid, but try not to use any abrasive cleaners often.’

Many others shared various tips and tricks they used to clean their showers.
‘I only use dishwashing liquid because it’s designed to cut through grease which is what most shower scum is,’ a woman said.
‘I cleaned our shower with The Pink Stuff yesterday. I didn’t have a spare scourer so I used one of those exfoliating gloves and I cannot believe I didn’t think of it sooner! It made it so easy and came up beautifully,’ another wrote.
‘I just did my shower screens with half vinegar and half dishwashing detergent. Scrubbed with the green side of a sponge and rinsed. Mind blown it worked,’ a third shared.
