MANCHESTER UNITED legend Gary Neville brutally trolled Liverpool with a three-word tweet.

And fans were left in stitches, with many “waiting for Jamie Carragher to bite.”

Neville and his Sky Sports chum have shared many hilarious interactions over the years.

The duo regularly take cheeky digs at each other, with Liverpool icon Carragher mocking Neville’s choice of jacket earlier this month.

But the Red Devils favourite managed to get his own back on Thursday.

Taking to Twitter, Neville delivered a stinging riposte after a fan posed a question about the Premier League’s best midfielders.
