Fred Sirieix’s fiancée says she was ‘surprised’ he announced their wedding on TV
Former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan has called for a change to the I’m A Celebrity format by letting the public decide who carries out which camp duty in the jungle. The 45-year-old thinks Fred Sirieix shouldn’t be the camp chef and that he should let the other celebrities have a go at cooking dinner for the group.
The dad-of-one took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to express his views on the ITV show. He said: “Catching up with @imacelebrity and loving it this year. ALTHOUGH I think Fred shouldn’t be camp chef and become dish cleaner – and let others have a go. As much as I’m sure they are happy they are eating well.
“Or the show should let the public decide who does what #ImACeleb,” James expressed. (sic) James’ fans rushed to the comment section to share their views on his suggestions for who should be doing which camp duty on the show.
One X user said: “Exactly! Fred hasn’t done anything except cook! In the challenge he made out he was the hero of the hour when Marvin got them through the trial!”
“Totally agree, let others have a chance of cooking,” another person wrote, while a third viewer expressed: “Problem will come if he gets voted out, they’ll struggle then!” (sic)

A fourth user disagreed with James’ idea and said: “I don’t think letting the public decide is the best idea. The public decided Sam should be camp leader…..look how that turned out!” (sic)
Fred, 51, has been cooking the food for his fellow campmates since the start of the series, showing off his culinary talents for viewers to marvel at.
After he and half of his fellow contestants won The Breakfast of Champions, the First Dates star brought back some of the food in order to jazz up the plain rice and beans.
The television personality got emotional on Wednesday’s episode after a thoughtful gesture from the campmates who undertook the Misery Motel trial. Marvin Humes, Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew won 24 out of 30 coins to use on the jungle vending machine to buy items for the group.

Arriving back at camp Sam explained: “What we decided to do, we bought five stars and treated ourselves to a couple of things…” Before pulling a chef’s apron out of his pants.
“This is for you mate,” he said to Fred, who was obviously touched, but it was the next item which caused him to become emotional.
“We then got some stock cubes, baby!” Sam continued, as Fred welled up at the thought of adding flavour to the celebrities’ food.
“It almost feels like Christmas Day,” said Fred. “It’s not in his bag, it’s in his pants!” he told the Bush Telegraph.
